If you want to disable hangouts on your phone:
- Go to your phone settings.
- Go to apps.
- Go to all apps.
- Find hangouts and go into the information on the hangouts app.
- Clear the app data.
- Uninstall updates(or Uninstall the app)
- If it is not possible to uninstall then disable the app.
